Why We Must Act

"My name is Anthony, and I need to be radically honest with you."

I am not a politician. I'm not a public speaker, a billionaire, or a saint.

In fact, I'm a deeply flawed person. I've made many mistakes in life—including some that I'm not proud of. I have fought vices, demons, and addictions. I have hurt the people I love and have betrayed those closest to me. I haven't always won in life but I haven't given up either. In my own eyes, I have failed as a friend, husband and as a father.

By the establishment's standards, I have no business saying anything.

Let me tell you this also: They will dig into my past. They will try to find every mistake I've ever made and throw it in your face to discredit me. And when they do, be prepared—because it's probably true.

I spent my whole life waiting for a perfect person to fix things. A leader without flaws who could unite our shattered nation. But I finally realized: that person doesn't exist.

I will not let my own imperfections be the excuse to stand by any longer and do nothing while injustice tears our country apart.

I wrote The 2nd Declaration to scream what America has been whispering for decades:

It has been stolen from the American people and we have stood idly by watching in this state of Complacency. Leaders fail. People fail. But the Constitution doesn't. It cannot fail unless we stand by and allow the Formidable to break it.

This isn't about me because i wouldn't be here if it was. It's about an idea. An idea that doesn't care about my past.

That idea is the Constitution.

They have tricked us out of our liberty and into this Complacency. They point fingers from news desks and Congress, telling you that your ENEMY is everyone who votes differently. And that EVIL is the person who believes differently.

I am done playing their game.

Poor is poor, no matter your color, religion, or politics. Just like theft is theft, no matter your money, power, or fame. We need to see the world through a child's eyes once again—where right is right and wrong is wrong.

I am not asking you to follow me at all, but definitely not because I am perfect. I hope we established that I am not.

I am asking you to stand with me because I am willing to fight if you are.

This is not about you or me. Its not even about US! It's about the world we are leaving our CHILDREN. It's THEIR nation, THEIR future, and THEIR way of life at stake.
